| 335857 | 2005-03-21 19:12:00 | NAV is certainly a killer of speed. However, I found I could improve things immensely by adjusting the set-up. By default mine wanted to check everything continuously. If I opened a new document in Word it wanted me to wait whilst it checked it, the same with any Office programme. Now, I can’t remember exactly where, (because I gave Mr Norton the big heave ho), but there is a facility within Norton’s where you can un-tick different items like “Microsoft Office Plug-In” and improve things immensely. I’m sure someone else running NAV 2003 can guide you to this facility if you can’t find it yourself. Cheers Bob |
