2005-03-22 04:43:00 | Hey, i just got a new computer and i have a little problem. All pictures on the internet won't load for me (Like ones posted by people on forums and such). Could this be because my antivirus software or something has a certain setting going thats keeping it from showing the pics? Any help is much appreciated! | sdeering312 (7356) | |
2005-03-22 04:49:00 | I know Firefox has a setting that will stop pics showing on your comp. Correct it by going to Tools>Options>Web Options. Make sure there is a tick beside Load Images; BUT make sure there is no tick beside 'for the originating website only'.

What anti virus or Internet security software are you using? Maybe there is another internet related application you have running that might be the culprit. More information from you = more help from us |

2005-03-22 20:19:00 | Thanks for the comments so far guys! I am using internet explorer. I also am using McAfee for my antivirus (I also have like a free month of Norton antivirus). I hope that helps cause i miss pictures :dogeye: | sdeering312 (7356) | |
2005-03-22 20:37:00 | Maybe the first thing to check is to go to Tools-Internet Options-Advanced, and ensure the multimedia boxes, in particular show images are ticked. If they already are, then the problem is a little deeper.

2005-03-22 21:03:00 | you're not running McAfee and Norton antivirus at the same time are you ? Running two AV progs simultaneously can cause all sorts of problems . I seem to have missed what OS you're using - XP with SP2 ? other ? | KatiMike (242) | |
