The newer cards will do 8x but their major benefits come from their processor and memory not the interface. |

The extra ram only improves performance when the load on the card is increased to unplayable levels....and it still remains unplayable... |

I would say the same thing about playing without any anti-aliasing as well. Hurts my eyes all those jaggedy lines. ;) |
