| 336645 | 2005-03-22 04:12:00 | Hey, I've been trying to download themes for Thunderbird, from the mozilla website . However, on completion of download, a popup window says that this theme could not be installed because it is not compatible with firefox . In Thunderbird's list of themes the new themes haven't been put there . What am I doing wrong? thanks, caffy |

Make sure you are downloading themes that match your version of Thunderbird Another thing, when you are downloading the themes, are you right clickin the download link and 'saving as..'? Also, the some of the themes have dead links (I think Silver is one) |

What I do is download the file to the computer, open the 'themes' dialog box from thunderbird and drag the downloaded theme into the dialog box. This way, I tell Thunderbird that this theme is for you. Cheers, |
