| 1382372 | 2014-08-24 02:15:00 | If I go to disc management the drive is shown and 'explore' opens Explorer. Why doesn't Explorer see it directly? It's an intermittent problem. When it happens, no amount of re-inserting the card fixes it. (With or without the SDHC adaptor case) Win7pro64. Desktop with an (old) Transcend USB-attached card reader |

| 1382373 | 2014-08-24 03:27:00 | The problem could be because the Computer is not assigning a Drive letter to the card when installed. I've got the same problem on an old W7 that's in need of a re-install. The hardware is fine because I connected a W8 Drive to it, and the card reader works fine. If you open Disk management, locate the drive (if its showing) , assign a letter, it usually opens. |

| 1382374 | 2014-08-24 03:43:00 | Thanks. I think it had my standard drive letter (G) when I went to disc management My installation is certainly in need of a re-install. Getting on for 2 years now. Trouble is I can't guarantee software location, passwords etc |
