1381912 2014-08-17 10:48:00 with Windows 7 Ultimate, 32 bit. My windows 7 ultimate came with its product code, but the booklet describing
the procedure to move from Vista to Win 7 was not included, despite the Win 7 is brand new and never used.

Anyway, can anyone point me to the setup procedure ?

1381913 2014-08-17 20:39:00 If you can do a clean install. Put the Win7 dvd in change the bootdisk in the BIOS to cd. Save settings. Boot from the DVD. Press a key when it says to. Then go from there. Delete partitions / format the hdd, / make partitions, if you want to / then reinstall Win7 Speedy Gonzales (78)
1381914 2014-08-17 22:39:00 Step 1: Backup.
Step 2: Check your backup.
Step 3: What Speedy said.

1381915 2014-08-17 23:21:00 Windows never comes with a booklet.
Anyway boot off the disk as speedy says. there are options to upgrade as well but a clean install is the best option in terms of stability and it gets rid of accumulated bloat.

If you google "How to install windows 7" you will find many guides explaining it in detail including this one www.wikihow.com

Easiest method not mentioned in the guides - If you know any friends who are good with computers buy them some beer/bake them a cake, and get them round to help.
