Are either of these any good and safe for monitoring daily uploads and downloads? NetMeter or NetWorx. I am still using XP(no scathing remarks please!) Husband has Windows 7. I want something similar to what is on my Samsung smartphone which shows separately, uploads, downloads, WiFi and data usage. I email a monthly newsletter - average size up to 3Mbs - to about 200 addresses and often wonder if it is measured as one amount of 3Mb or 200 amounts of 3Mb. Have asked World Xchange our ISP but they don't quite understand my question! Be gentle with me - I'm a Grandma! Thanks. |

Is worldxchange Xnet? If it is, they've got their own usage meter (help.xnet.co.nz) |

You only have to upload the email once, the email server handles sending multiple copies to everyone else, so no, you aren't uploading 200x 3MB. |

All ISP's have their own but it usually only shows how much you have used not a full breakdown, an PC based one would need to be installed on all PC's in the network |
