I recently purchased a Dell desktop computer running Windows 7 professional. On other computers I have always set up shortcuts to My Documents and various subfolders on the desktop to save time getting to folders I use a lot. However, this time the computer intermittently loses the shortcuts and I have to go through Explorer to reinstall them. It only happens when the screen goes to the screensaver, and only now and then, but it is a nuisance and I have never struck this before. The shortcuts to other programmes, and surprisingly the shortcut to just one of the subfolders under My Documents all work fine and never disappear.
Any ideas? Richard. |
