1367244 2014-02-09 21:16:00 Has anyone here had any previous dealings with The Shaw Academy?

They are currently advertising a 4-week live online Photography Course with an Accredited Diploma (value $995) (www.grabone.co.nz).

Is this value for money, or is it just another online Con?

1367246 2014-02-10 18:37:00 I can't find anything about them except loads of Grabone ads.
No idea if that is value...4 weeks for $1000 though? Hmm....Go and compare other similar courses first.

There is no mention of tutor contact or review of work etc, and the Grab One price is about the right value in my opinion. The $995 is probably a rip-off.

Ten hours is a drop in the bucket, and a Google search brings up two apparently different "Shaw" Academies so I wouldn't spend a cent on it.

It screams either scam or half-arsed 'once over lightly' money grubbing to me. It takes time to learn the art of photography and if it can be done in 10 hours I'd eat my hat!

Cheers

It gets better:

Try this!

Financial Trading Course

Over the course of 10 one-hour modules spanning four weeks, students dive right into both the technical and fundamental aspects of trading with our help and support throughout, providing you with a solid understanding of what is required in order to successfully trade the markets.

Must be the course our beloved DonKey took, though to be fair, he did go on to major in smirking.
