| 337071 | 2005-03-23 07:04:00 | Just a little insight into X800 XT users' over-clock speeds I've run ATi Tool and got the following for MAX CORE & MEMORY SPEEDS: MAX CORE: 531MHz MAX MEMORY: 580MHz I then did a second run (core only) and it only got up to 507MHz. From reading searches on Google most users have only gained between a 7 & 10% increase on over-clocking before things went wrong. I want to run ATi Tool again.. maybe for a few hours but I'm concerned I might damage the card if I leave it unattended as such. What are your over-clock gains and will I damage the card if I left ATi Tool running over night? cheers chiefnz |

| 337072 | 2005-03-23 07:10:00 | maybe overclockers nz fourms would be a better place to ask this, i think they have a graphics card overclock group/bunch of threads. just a suggestion :) | Prescott (11) | ||

| 337075 | 2005-03-23 09:14:00 | Well I'll bite. Mines still an XT core underneath, 16 pipelines open and same RAM. Sapphire X800 Pro Vivo max stable overclock 540/570. (2hrs torture, then quit). Can't be bothered working out the percentages but stock speed is 475/450. For games I just run at 520/560 (XT PE speed). |

| 337076 | 2005-03-23 21:23:00 | Thanks for that. In case you didn't know, the X800 Pro does over-clock better than the X800 XT percentage wise, I'm not too sure whether it can get as high as the XT (without unlocking the extra pipelines.) I'll give it a try and see what I get in 3DMark05. cheers chiefnz |
