| 336912 | 2005-03-22 14:26:00 | I'm currently "fixing" a nice old dear's win95 box and adawareSE wont install (95 is no longer supported). Anyone have a good alternative? It's got ZA, AVG and SpybotSD, just no adaware :( TIA |

| 336913 | 2005-03-22 21:18:00 | are you getting dll missing message on install, what I did is found the dlls, google then installed them into the system directory or a another idea is to go to www.oldversion.com (http://www.oldversion.com) and download an older version of adaware but this has the disadvantage of not being able to update the older version | beama (111) | ||
| 336914 | 2005-03-22 21:59:00 | Have all the required dlls thanks. It simply wont install. The install starts then shuts itself down. On the lavasoft site it has not got 95 supported. An old version would of course install but as updates are not available would be a total waste of time, hence wanting something else to replace it. | |llus|oN (645) | ||

| 336918 | 2005-03-23 04:34:00 | Maybe better than nothing as apparently nobody is writting new viruses for Win95, you just have to protect against the old ones which may still be around, go here for many old versions of Ad-Aware: www.oldversion.com |
