| 337183 | 2005-03-23 10:05:00 | Is there a simple way of creating an icon on the desktop which will fire up Opera and connect straight to PF1 - I seem to recall that a couple of desktops had this ability. Cheers Tony |

| 337186 | 2005-03-23 10:14:00 | You can easily make a quick shortcut by having the main PF1 page displayed, then left click and hold on the wee icon in the address bar immediately to the left of the http:// and dragging this icon onto your desktop. It may help to resize the browser window first a little so that the desktop is visible to one side. You can also use the File > Send to > Create desktop shortcut in IE (Opera and Firefox should have a similar worded option) :) |

| 337190 | 2005-03-23 11:31:00 | Now looking back, the problem was that the icon was not appearing where my mouse pointer was, but miles away buried among other icons. AND it did not appear with the Opera Icon but with the IE one - and I had not spotted it. All fixed now - magic ...... Cheers Tony |
