| 336939 | 2005-03-22 22:59:00 | I have been given an old laptop to use as a security device - using a web camera. The laptop screen is fairly duff but it has been used in the past using an external monitor. I have a spare fairly recent monitor but when I try using it, what is left of the old screen reports a "conflict" somewhere. It is of course a bit tricky using a partially duff screen, but if anybody can suggest a method of geting the ext monitor to work I would appreciate it. The thing uses Win98 |
