| 336754 | 2005-03-22 06:34:00 | I have a spare PC (pentium 3 850) with 200 gb free disk, with DVD reader and another DVD R-W. I also have a broken Video recorder on my TV (won't record). Rather than buying a new video recorder (can't afford TV type DVD recorder) I thought of getting a video capture card and use the PC as a recording device, sharing the cable connection with the TV (which is hooked up via Video unit). Any one tried this? I want to be able to watch a channel and record another at the same time. Any advice much appreciated. Ian B |
