| 337842 | 2005-03-25 04:10:00 | i can't boot up . can't boot from boot disk or hard drive or in to bios . just get P4 logo on screen and thats it, no memory test . :dogeye: i took ram out i took hhd out i took mobo battery out but nothing works but the power and video card bios then p4 logo . please help new mobo or cpu hope not . i'm dieing here long weekend and no pc :badpc: ps: i get 1 beep at the start . |

| 337843 | 2005-03-25 05:33:00 | The 1 beep sounds like its OK, if it's only 1 beep on bootup . Umm has the motherboard got a ATX 4 pin plug on it?? If so, is the connection from the power supply (4 pin ATX connection), connected to it?? This MUST be connected, so it gives the CPU some power . Also is the CPU fan spinning?? |

| 337844 | 2005-03-25 10:35:00 | it's going again BUT it takes 3 minutes to boot . i played with the bios to try to speed it up with no luck, even flashed the bios but no it takes sooo sooooooo long to boot help me . :badpc: would love any help . |

| 337845 | 2005-03-25 10:57:00 | Long boot, I would say your best option right now is to back up all your data. The last time my partner had a long bootup issue, the harddrive died soon after. |
