Great way to go and much easier than trying to fiddle round and get permissions right .

Phil B just do as thewhiz suggests it works a treat . For easy access map a network drive to the share on the machine that you want to allow access to the shared folder .

Just tells me the folder i'm trying to connect to is mapped under a different username & password. Even though I tried connecting using the username & password of this computer as well

What about trying to unshare and reshare the folder and adding the $ to it when you share it?
