2005-03-24 20:47:00 | I was referring to running more than 1 burner from the SAME instance of Nero. :P | PaulD (232) | |
2005-03-24 21:05:00 | Well, Nerovision Express is easier to use for burning to DVD, than the DVD video option in Nero . And they have totally different options anyway . In Nero, it can't take an Mpeg / video file, (I think it needs a VOB file), whereas Nerovision will let u load an Mpeg file/other, so u can load it, and put titles etc to it . Then burn it . (Unless u have a VOB file), then you can open Nero up twice, and then burn an MP3 CD, and DVD at the same time . And since the DVD options in Nero are completely different from Nerovision's, and I havent got any VOB files to burn, I can't open Nero up twice to see if it works .

2005-03-24 21:15:00 | I haven't got 2 burners to try and the advice on other forums is conflicting. Some say to be safe all should be same and others don't. Why not try burning the same CD from Nero to your DVD and your CD burners from the one Nero session if you have a retail Nero? For 2 drives it probably doesn't matter but Nero claims to support up to 32 drives with Nero Max. I don't think you'd want 32 copies of Nero running at once. | PaulD (232) | |
2005-03-24 21:26:00 | lol no I'm not wasting a 4 . 7 GB DVD for 386mb of MP3 files . They're not from a CD, they're on the hard drive . That'll be a waste of a DVD . Unless u wanna reimburse me for doing it :D

2005-03-24 22:27:00 | lol, yup I know it does cd's and dvd's and dl dvd's and + and - DVD's. BUT u can only have 1 cd / dvd in one burner at a time.

2005-03-24 22:38:00 | I thought the issue was whether you could the same content to different types of burner at the same time? For example, to a CD in your Asus CD burner and another CD in your DVD burner by selecting both of them from the same session of retail Nero. | PaulD (232) | |
2005-03-24 23:01:00 | Well yup it was, well it doesnt matter whether its the same file or one file on one burner, and something else on the other . If it works with 2 different files, why wouldnt it work, if u burned the same file twice on 2 different burners?? It looks like u can do a DVD and an MP3 with one version of Nero running, BUT as I said I havent got a VOB file, to use with Nero's DVD Video option, so I have to use Nerovision, since I only have an Mpeg file . And I'm not wasting a DVD just to burn 386 mb of MP3's onto it .

As far as Windows was concerned it was running 2 separate programs, whether that was 2 Neros or Nero and Nero Vision doesn't matter. I'm talking about sending the output from 1 running session of Nero to several burners. | PaulD (232) | ||
2005-03-24 23:57:00 | I give up. I've got better things to do than argue with 1 person, who may NOT even use Nero 6 anyway. | Speedy Gonzales (78) | |
