I was just wondering....

Having just replaced a harddrive in my partners computer that died suddenly, I am about to put Win 98 first edition back on.

I was wondering, is there a way I can download updates for that O/S onto my computer, to be burned onto CD.

This other computer will not have access to the net, just want to make her O/S a bit more stable for the various apps she has/will have on it.

BTW I run XP Pro

www.microsoft.com download the things you want and save to disk, then burn to cd as suggested above.

Also if you have the MS security update cd, that will have a lot of updates on it too.
