But because shortly someone will recommend that you try Firefox as your browser, instead of IE (and yes it can become boring), I'll bite the bullet & do that myself. I used IE as a newbie. I tried Firefox while still one...and am very satisfied. It has the facility to block popups & also ads generally - without much expertise from the operator... However, I'm sure there are IE users who'll tell you how to do that in the system of your choice. I'll leave it to them. |
