337972 2005-03-25 11:00:00 Hello, can you help please?
I have a HP Pavilion Laptop and a Philips TV
I wish to view my MS Photo Story that is on my laptop on the TV
I purchased a S-Video cable, OK connecting from Laptop to the TV but cannot seem to get to play?
The TV has a AV1, AV2, and a "Side" option but none seem to work
Appreciate any help you can give
Many thanks

337973 2005-03-25 11:16:00 Have never met Photo story so being of a curious nature I set out for a quick search to find out what it is.

From the Microsoft Photo Story page (www.microsoft.com):

"... watch your stories in your own living room using Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005."

OK, next step - What is Media Centre? Another search for Media Centre (www.microsoft.com):

"Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 is a new Windows XP operating system available only on Media Center personal computers..."

Looks like you need to burn to disk and go to a DVD player. Other alternative could be to set the TV up as second monitor. My guess is that this would be possible as you have a video out on your graphics card but I've forgotten how to do this. Do you have a manual for your graphics card?
