338747 2005-03-28 07:12:00 Is there a valid reason for syshost.exe to access the internet or to act as a server?

I have been blocking it for some time now, as syshost.exe caused me some problems awhile ago.

Just wondering.

338748 2005-03-28 07:21:00 have you ran an up-to-date virus scan?
after a quick google it seems to indicate virus activity

"if a process named syshost.exe is running on your computer, you may have been infected with a strain of the Evaman-F worm" i found that here (www.auditmypc.com) and tons more info here (www.google.co.nz). just looking now and i dont seem to have it running in my processes.

what virus scanner do you have, is it up to date?
