| 338670 | 2005-03-28 01:09:00 | Hi Folks. I have call diversion from my land line to my mobile, so when activated I can still receive calls when the computer is on line. All worked well until last week I had to get a new hard drive installed as the old one crashed in a heap. Now when call diversion is activated and I try to connect to Paradise on dial up, I get a message - "No dial tone. Make sure modem is correctly connected to the computer and phone line". When I disable call diversion, I can dial up as normal. Anyone any ideas as to why this is now occurring. Running XP home on dial up to Paradise. Thanks Smithie |

I don't have a modem here, so cannot say just where it is exactly. Diversion will be "modifying" the dial tone, and the modem does not recognise it as a dial tone. |
