I have formated c drive only and reinstalled XP pro and now when I open MY Computer it only shows C drive only. Where have D ,E , F ,dissapeared to and how can I get them and the info they contain back without lose of any files. | norrol (2154)

Drive was partitioned last year with Partition Managenent and has never caused any problems until now. Drive is 40gb but is now only showing partition c size 4000.5mb the rest of the drive has dissapeared | norrol (2154)

You started with My hard drive is 40gb and is partioned into 4 partions Then you formated c drive only and reinstalled XP pro and ended up with partition c size 4000 . 5mb Also the 3 missing partitions dont show up in Control /computer management/disk management If there is no spare space or unhealthy partitions in Disk Management then the hard drive has been repartitioned . Next step is data recovery . Quote For The Week People who think they know everything are very irritating to those of us who do - Anonymous |
