Hi....Has this been discussed befor? "The New Briefcase". The shortcut has just arrived, uninvited, and I haven't even got an old briefcase as far as I know. It seems to be a sort of optional addon to Win Explorer. What's it for? Where's it from and how did it get past ZoneAlarm? and how do I dump it safely? Questions questions.

Thanks for any light on this thing....Ken

Type in briefcase.

If you have a desktop and and a Laptop the briefcase will allow you to synchronise files between the two.

Should be a shortcut and dump it if you want.

This would not have appeared on its own.
