| 339567 | 2005-03-30 02:33:00 | One of the latest MS Critical Updates is causing BSODs on some Windows 98 and ME computers. Error is usally of the type "fatal eception 06 at 0000:0000xxxx" and occurs when using any web browser. The easy fix is to Run > Msconfig, and untick KB891711 in the Startup tab. (Or you can uninstall thru Control Panel). Kill the KB891711 process, or restart your computer afterwards. |
