| 339682 | 2005-03-30 10:55:00 | I have a movie in Avi format and I wish to convert to a Mpg format so that my vcd player can play it.Just wondering. On a average Amd 2800XP computer with um 256mb ram.Using Nero how long does it take to convert from avi to mpeg 1 format? What are the formats that a vcd player and Dvd player can play? |

| 339685 | 2005-03-30 12:06:00 | Just wondering.I can use Avi2vcd to convert avi to mpeg format.I have to use the decompresser tool first before I can encode to mpeg format. If I dont use that program and I use nero and click make a vcd disc and point it to a 771mb file. Will it eject the first disc after it is full and asks me to insert the 2nd disc and then starts copying carrying on from the last second of the first disc? |

| 339689 | 2005-03-30 20:12:00 | No You could use Nero tho. It should be able to make a VCD onto a normal CD. I did a 1.57 mpeg to VCD. Can't see why a file just over the size of a cd wouldnt work, if u select VCD in Nero. |
