| 339001 | 2005-03-29 04:01:00 | I have decided to buy an iMac G5, and would like a wireless keyboard and mouse, would this be a good idea reliability wise? Also, do you know if the iMacs ship with wired keyboard and mouse when you ask for a bluetooth adapter and wireless keyboard and mouse? I welcome any comments, Squibler ;) |

| 339003 | 2005-03-29 04:28:00 | I don't own one of Apple's wireless keyboards, but I use the wireless mouse with my PowerBook and it works great. If you order a Mac with built-in Bluetooth it will still come with the standard USB keyboard and mouse. You will need to buy the Bluetooth models separately. :) | maccrazy (6741) | ||

I welcome any comments, Squibler ;) Communicate with the mac dealer directly to get the facts on what does and does not come with your purchase. A wireless keyboard and mouse (of good make) is as reliable as any wired setup until the batteries give up but being a wise man you would of course invest in a set of nimh batteries and charger. I did have one more comment to make about macs (actually a rather long one) but I have made a promise to myself to stop making fun of them so :xmouth: |

You may of course be able to come to some arrangement with the dealer if you don't want the wired keyboard, you would need to ask. Congratulations on your decision, superb machine and ignore any comments from fanatical windows users as they just secretly wish they had the money to buy a superior reliable system like the G5 |
