| 340300 | 2005-04-01 11:02:00 | Hello all I have been to several places and have yet to find anywhere to supply me with a HDTV cable for my Sparkle geforce 6600gt video card. I thought this card came with this cable, but since NZ does not have HDTV, they did not supply this cable(according to a supplier). I believe it looks like a 9 or 10 pin S-video connection on one end, and the other end is RGB component. Any suggestions will be greatful ;) |

What sort of system have you got it running on? I'm looking to possibly upgrading my FX5600 8xAGP thats currently on an ASUS P4P800 standard mobo with a 2.8 P4. Have read the latest PCWorld got some good Card reviews in there. Looking at the Albatron 6600GT AGP. Much appreciated. Pete  |

| 340302 | 2005-04-03 00:14:00 | hey i got my graphics card from PP in wellington, its a PCI-X. Currently running it on AMD64 3000, 512ddr400 ram, good card, but i think if you have a look in the overclockers website, they show you wat exactly is supplied with your card, i see they had a 6600gt(made by another brand) and it actually supplied the HDTV cable | desmondn (7762) | ||

| 340304 | 2005-04-03 11:00:00 | Hey Simply Si, my location is in Wellington, yes i thought it was odd too, because the cable is a specialty part, and is hard to get hold of, my email address is bolokafe@hotmail.com. Hope you do have spares somewhere, as i have been 3 weeks in the look, and had no luck. Much appreciated for your help, |

| 340305 | 2005-04-03 22:17:00 | I have spent about 10 mins doing a google search for you in NZ and all the cables I found came with Video Cards etc. As you mention you went back to shop were you got it from and they said that that card dosen't come with that cable which I think is bull****. Trevor:) |

| 340306 | 2005-04-03 23:01:00 | hmmm... I presume the thread starter is referring to a component cable, which splits the signel into 3 parts and has 3 serperate plugs all for the video. These are never supplied with video cards, never even seen one in an accoserois catolouge. |

| 340307 | 2005-04-03 23:35:00 | My MX 460 came with one a couple of years ago, but possibly just because it is needed to use the Video In function? Splits the output to AV (composite) and S-Video, same for input. |

Alrighty, Never seen a bundle with a component cable supplied, though it apears they are provided with top end cards when the manufacturer puts a bit of extra value items into the package. And seeing as I was wrong on that account, I shall look up my trusty catolouge and see if they are available...... |
