| 340044 | 2005-03-31 21:41:00 | The April 2005 PC World (Page 61) article on changing firmware on Canon EOS 300D to be essentially the 10D looks great. A wise precaution is given to back up the existing firmwware from Canon. Have done this and obtained Ver 1.1.1 and currently have the Ver 1.1.1 already loaded in my 300D. HOWEVER the Canon caveat says that the firmware I have just downloaded can only be installed over ver 1.0.2. That I cannot find anywhere. Does anyone know where to get Ver 1.0.2? or be able to confirm that 1.1.1 update firmware from Canon will reinstall over the top of the 10D updater hack if necessary? TIA Ron |
