339963 2005-03-31 14:15:00 Hey there.

I got some new Logitech Z-2200's less than a month ago.

Just recently, like within the last 2 weeks at random time's they've started like fuzzing at times.

God this is hard to explain. Ie. I'm listening to music and then a fuzz comes over the top similar to like when you're scannig for a radio station but not high pitched, just as if there's some sorta interference or something hitting the speakers.

It's random and happens every so oft but it's enough to be annoying and get me wondering if there might be an actual fault.

Anyone have any idea???

Cheers.

339965 2005-03-31 23:51:00 Do you have a Vodafone cellphone near the speakers? They can cause a weird buzzing noise when the phone gets a text or call... wintertide (1306)
339966 2005-04-01 08:11:00 Hmm thanks for the heads up.

The cellphones not tooooo close and besides I didn't receive a text etc when the buzzing happened. And it's not really the same beep beep the mobile makes, more of the sorta sound if you slowly plug the speakers in. Fuzzy blurrout.

I'll try an external device cause my sounds just onboard but the motherboards less than a month old but yea I"ll give that a shot and see how things go. Thing is it doesn't happen like every hour or so it happens more random but in close intervals at that.

Hit & Miss i guess.

I'll seee what happens >_<

339967 2005-04-01 11:04:00 Cellphones regularly "phone home" to the cellular system to let them know they are sill available. Every 10 minutes or so.

Cellphone interference would be possible within 3 or 4 metres range easily, but that noise is very distinctive.
