| 339902 | 2005-03-31 08:23:00 | This is starting to drive me nuts. I like to use Winamp as my Media Player, using the Global Hotkeys function and the controls on my keyboard to cycle through songs and control the music. However, with Winamp minimised into the system tray, rather than play/pause the song, it plays/pauses it AND STARTS UP ****ing Windows Media Player. (it goes fine if it's in the foreground, but I don't like it like that.) Is there ANY way to stop this happening? It's seriously causing me to want to break this POS keyboard. It didn't happen with the earlier drivers, but they were somewhat buggy, so I had to update. I have an MS Multimedia Keyboard, with the latest drivers off the MS website, and I'm on Windows XP Professional. The media player I'm attempting to use is Winamp 5. Any help would be very much appreciated. |

| 339904 | 2005-03-31 08:38:00 | Like I said, program and drivers are installed. In the Keyboard settings, all the key settings are under one tab. The function set to "Play" is "Plays and pauses media track." Which it does... when the media program is in the foreground. | Zygar (29) | ||

| 339906 | 2005-03-31 08:48:00 | I don't WANT it to start a Media player when I hit the play/pause button, that's the point, and I can't seem to stop it. Here's a screenshot of my keyboard settings. zygar.co.nz |
