| 340015 | 2005-05-13 01:30:00 | What do you mean by: I dont like the defautl "group views"? I do not see this / have never used it. BTW, the New Thread button is at the top left of the main page (of all posts, not an individual post). ;) ----------- Now this is wierd. When I installed this a few days ago ( new computer ) it always opened New Mail in the group view showing last week and prior week emails in two groups. I went to the tools and changed group view back to (none) Normal. Each time I closed Pegasus and reopened it kept defaulting back to that group view. This time, first time after many tries, Pegasus remembered my setting and opened to the regular view. I don't know why it would not save preference until now but it finally did so. Paul |

| 340016 | 2005-05-13 01:35:00 | Thanks. BTW, I have used PMail for about 9 years and think it is the best email platform. :)[/QUOTE] I have probably used Pegasus over 5 years and recommend it to clients as a safer alternative to Outlook. I like the program despite some occasional problems which can be a real bear to fix due to the very confusing and complex set of files involved with Pegasus. I would love to see Pegasus include utilities to allow cloning an install to a new computer to keep all folders and files intact. A backup/restore function would be really great because if something messes up the files, getting it all back in order can be all but impossible. A "move/clone" function to create a copy that can be moved to a new drive or computer would also be a great feature. |

There are a number of options. It automatically groups emails based on various attributes. It could be useful but I personally don't like it. It will group by day, week, subject etc. |

Do not see anything under Folders, or elsewhere but have not looked under Options. |

| 340020 | 2005-05-13 11:50:00 | I've used Pegasus Mail for years. There's a Usenet group here: comp.mail.pegasus-mail.ms-windows that I've found pretty helpful. |
