| 340125 | 2005-04-01 23:35:00 | No idea about the internal working of battery's myself,but I have found that any laptop i have sold if the customer starts complaining about battery life then their is a problem,and it gets worse,to the point they won't hold a charge. What I would suggest is that you jump into the bios and select the calibrate battery option,this will discharge the battery to its lowest ebb then recharge it fully. If this helps I would monitor battery life closely,and if it starts to regress then contact whomever you bought it off, I would also contact the manufacturer and ask them what the normal discharge rate is. Expect everyone to lie though,and tell you whatever happens is as per design. Your battery may only be covered by a 6 month warrenty so make sure you keep an eye on the calender. |
