2005-04-02 01:11:00 | Steve_L Thanks for asking the question, and ... beama Many, many thanks for providing the answer. I always wondered how you would do it, and have just followed your instructions to export to Word files. I had not noticed the Addressbook on the Main Menu before (which only appears once the names have been selected in the address book). Oxie (Lyn)

2005-04-02 06:07:00 | Steve To export your adress book you first need to open it then you will get a menu item "Addressbok" on the main Pegesus window. You will find the import and export functions in there. This is for versions 4.12a and lower. As far converting for import into gmail Ive never tried it. Beama, I have looked and re-looked again and again, and I do not see what you refer to. I have version, 4.21c, the latest I believe. Could you be more specific, please? Either we are on different planets or I will be hitting my head saying "Duh....!"

2005-04-02 06:11:00 | had not noticed the Addressbook on the Main Menu before (which only appears once the names have been selected in the address book). This is frustrating.... I cannot see what you or Beama are referring to, and I did select a name(s) in the address book. :stare:

2005-04-02 07:39:00 | there should be no noticable diffence between my version a and yours On your menu bar there is a green book (address book icon) click on that now look at the MAIN pegasus text menu bar there should be a new menu option "addressbook" in there you find the export import options or goto help in pegasus type in "export" in the index...find tab area, choose or put a tick in "the addressbook menu" then click the display button down the bottom of that search window that should give you the information you need if you have any more problems you know my gmail address  :D

2005-04-02 22:55:00 | Beama, I have sent you a private message. It would be helpful if I could email you a screenshot, as the items you refer to just do not appear before my :stare: eyes. | Strommer (42) | |

2005-05-13 00:52:00 | I could not find a button for new topic so hope this gets found . I just installed the latest download and have problems . I dont like the defautl "group views" and want Pegasus to start with no group views at all . As it stands now I have to manually change views every time it starts . When in group view new messages are not visible until I close the New Mail folder then re-open it . A real pain in the %^$&# . I don't like it . Pegasus won't save my settings when closing so it always restarts with the same grouped view . If this is a bug yet to be resolved where can I download a prior version to avoid this problem .

2005-05-13 00:55:00 | COPY TO ANOTHER COMPUTER I have the manual I bought several releases ago but cannot find anything to help me move a copy of my current install to another computer while preserving the existing folder structure . It is just so confusing trying to figure out what all those files are and how to move them to a different drive letter . Is there an adendum to the user manual that explains how to move a copy to another machine? The drive letters will be different than on the old computer . Paul

2005-05-13 01:25:00 | What do you mean by: I dont like the defautl "group views"? I do not see this / have never used it. BTW, the New Thread button is at the top left of the main page (of all posts, not an individual post). ;)
