| 340779 | 2005-04-02 10:57:00 | Something strange is happening in Internet Explorer: Sometimes when I click on a link, it starts clicking rapidly on the address bar (without me touching anything) and I can see the phrase above substituted at the beginning of the line in the address bar. It keeps directing me to a page that wants to sell me stuff. http://startnow.com/ I have run Spybot which has not made any difference. Can I kill it?! Any thoughts? |

| 340781 | 2005-04-02 11:49:00 | also have a look in add/remove in the control panel for anything that is not meant to be there. i just had a look at that site (with firefox of course) and it mentions something about a toolbar,perhaps you have that. remove it if its in the add/remove section of the control panel. and to stop these annoying things from ever happening again, [www.getfirefox.com] get firefox [ :thumbs: |
