340672 2005-04-02 06:41:00 I have recently installed firefox and I am wondering if on my desktop I can change the Internet Explorer link to the firefox it has been changed on the start menu (I use Windows XP Home Edition, SP2 :nerd: ) :help: Gabpoll (7710)
340673 2005-04-02 06:54:00 If you no longer wish to use the Internet Explorer shortcut link on your desktop; you can delete it (right click>delete) Myth (110)
340674 2005-04-02 06:55:00 If you want to change to default program, then that is easy. Just click and then open with, choose a program, then make it the default .

If you want to import your favourites to firefox , that option was given at the installation of firefox. I am not sure how to do it once it was gone.

340676 2005-04-02 11:38:00 I am wondering is it possible that when I click the "Go to your e-mail inbox" on the header part of MSN Messenger, is it possible that it opens up using firefox instead IE? Cheers and thanks :) Renmoo (66)
340677 2005-04-02 11:44:00 nope, MSN messenger will only open IE, there is no way to get around it. its a MS thing.
id suggest getting a seperate little program that will check if you have new email. or get gmail and use gnotify or thunderbird.
