| 340558 | 2005-04-02 03:24:00 | Would love to un-install this monster but this does not seem possible. How can I prevent MP to pop up at the most inoportune moments, usually when I am on the net. Cheers | baume800 (7772) | ||
| 340559 | 2005-04-02 03:43:00 | What do u mean while on the net?? It doesnt usually just pop up out of nowhere. When exactly does it come up / pop up?? When you're on a site with some kind of media on it?? And u go to play it? |

| 340560 | 2005-04-02 04:13:00 | Thanks speedy g. for your speedy reply. On the net means when I am on the internet, e.g. browsing web pages, that is usually weather reports on xtra or stuff etc. My suspicion is that MP picks up on some 'active content' which I am unable to turn off because I may not have programmed MP properly. When it pops up it always plays songs that I have recently copied from CD and not any web content. I am not playing or clicking on anything. |

| 340564 | 2005-04-02 06:04:00 | There asre three streaming protocls that wmp uses's (sp?) unticking this will remove its ability to stream media from a site. However,if its the crap like the TV blurbs that happen at stuff.co.nz then i believe thats java based and just made to look like its wmp.... |
