340569 2005-04-02 02:41:00 An icon concerning D L A has just appeared on my tool bar...Should I delete it or is it useful?......and where did it come from.....I do not undertand GOOGLES interpretation so please help me .....as ever still learning....and I do not expect to stop.... :help: olldaddy78 (6546)

340571 2005-04-02 02:48:00 Have you just installed some CD writing software? DLA direct letter access is a packet writing scheme that lets you use a CDRW like a floppy. Some of these aren't that reliable as far as being able to read the disk on other computers. PaulD (232)
340572 2005-04-02 07:42:00 As Paul mentions, it is most likely to be associated with your CD/DVD writing program (especially if a HP machine). If you double-click on it, it should open and you can see what it is. If double-clicking has no effect, then try right-clicking on the icon for more options. :) Jen (38)
