An icon concerning D L A has just appeared on my tool bar...Should I delete it or is it useful?......and where did it come from.....I do not undertand GOOGLES interpretation so please help me .....as ever still learning....and I do not expect to stop.... :help: |

Have you just installed some CD writing software? DLA direct letter access is a packet writing scheme that lets you use a CDRW like a floppy. Some of these aren't that reliable as far as being able to read the disk on other computers. |

As Paul mentions, it is most likely to be associated with your CD/DVD writing program (especially if a HP machine). If you double-click on it, it should open and you can see what it is. If double-clicking has no effect, then try right-clicking on the icon for more options. :) |
