last week i was using my pc turned it off went to bed, the next day i turned it on and i kept hearing 8 beeps at the startup and the PC restarted, and this process kept on repeteing itself, so i read a few help pages and it said 8 beeps is a graphics card problem, so i got a new graphics card installed it and i still have the same problem. please please can someone help me!

my specs are
Intel P4 3.06Mhz
1024MB Ram
300GB HD
ATi 9600 256MB AGP Graphics card -> Ati 9800 128 Pro AGP Card

341484 2005-04-04 11:20:00 What is the make of bios? AMI, Award, phoenix etc.
Each make of bios has its own beep codes

341485 2005-04-04 21:00:00 It could be a faulty AGP slot.
Or does the new graphics card have a power connector on it and have you plugged a power cable into it?

341486 2005-04-04 21:43:00 What BIOS have you got? If you don't know - what MB are you using?
Is the card seated correctly?
HAve you tried the 1st card in another PC?

341489 2005-04-06 11:59:00 Also check out your RAM. If you have 2 sticks, remove 1 , then swap. Beep codes can vary between BIOS makers. pheonix (36)

341491 2005-04-06 20:57:00 AMI BIOS:
Indicates a memory error on the video adapter. Try re-seating the video card. If it still beeps, try replacing the video card.
