| 341219 | 2005-04-03 11:21:00 | For the life of me, I can't figure out how to do it. (and I'm tech support for the family and a self-confessed geek) www.sal.neoburn.net - I'd really like the desktop text to be black. Also, I'd like to get rid of the green background to the text as well, if possible. I can change the font, size, bold/italics for the icon in advanced settings, but the color box is greyed out ( www.sal.neoburn.net ) |

| 341220 | 2005-04-03 12:14:00 | You might need to change the visual effects settings (sal.neoburn.net). If theres no luck there then it is most probably the file format of your background that is the problem. If you can change it to a jpeg or bmp, then this should fix it for you. | sal (67) | ||
| 341221 | 2005-04-03 12:20:00 | look here (www.annoyances.org) this freeware program (http://www.sillysot.com/) seems to do everything you want (text colour in icons seems to be either black or white - no idea how windows decides this). |
