| 341090 | 2005-04-03 06:35:00 | Hi Folks. Last year I made some posters like you see in supermarkets, etc., with little tear-off tabs at the bottom for club contacts. Old brain is failing me and I've forgotten how I did it using an automated process. The only response to help in Word 2003 is a ready made poster template, complete with tear-offs but not telling how it was done. Can anyone refresh my memory? Thanks. | Scouse (83) | ||

Do I have to search the CD for "extras" that are sometimes not installed unless specifically selected? If you have MS Publisher that will do the job very easily. |

| 341094 | 2005-04-04 01:00:00 | Hi Mary. Thanks. Been there without success. Hi Foxy*. Found this template (www.sal.neoburn.net) by entering the words "tear-off" in to Word's help. It does help, simply by reinforcing my knowledge that the transaction exists, but not actually how to do it. It was a simple keyboard shortcut transaction which I came across by accident while using text box copies to create a similar layout. I was able tocreate a single text box and then click a couple of character keys to create a flexible number of copies across the bottom of the document. Old age is a bugger. |

| 341099 | 2005-04-04 07:02:00 | Hi Foxy*. Looks scraggy, but simple to do. In Word document, clickTable>Insert>Table. Create Table with about 12 columns and 1 row. Right click in first cell. Select Text Direction>Orientation>OK. Type in your contact data. Select/highlight first cell. Right click and Copy. Select all other cells at once, apart from the first. Click Paste Cells. As always, takes longer to spell it out than to do. Hi Graham. I like MS. |
