| 341134 | 2005-04-03 10:41:00 | Hi all Just updated my AVG virus scanner software, now it won't let me get my email messages. Checked the setting and the help files, I think they are as they should be (I think!) Could someone please run through what they sould be. Many thanks |

| 341135 | 2005-04-03 11:28:00 | This may be the problem we had lots of talk about some months ago. Something about unchecking "scan outgoing mail" when installing AVG. Put AVG in the PF1 search box and see what happens....Ken |

| 341138 | 2005-04-04 23:45:00 | its only the personal email scanner (or pop3 scanner as its sometimes called) that has a few glitchs. firstly make sure the ISP setting is set to your isp not lan (unless your connected via lan for net access). if in doubt you can uninstal/reinstall and use the email plugins which is what AVG6 used to use. if you have an unsupported email prog you can actually run it without email scanning without to much of a prob. |
