My newly bought old scanner doesnt support Xp. its driver works on me,98,2000 I tried many times but it just wont work on xp. MY scanner model simplex scanner 8420U. It is also called super slim ccd scanner . how can i find a xp driver for this |

if the 2000 driver dosn't work and you can't find a modded driver, then throw it out and buy a new one. |

You could try installing the driver you have and running scanning program in compatibility mode, although it probably won't work as it's the drivers at fault.
I had the same problem with older HP scanner, no Win XP drivers available. Solved the problem by finding Win XP drivers for slightly newer model. Maybe Simplex do the same thing, can't hurt to try. |
