| 342150 | 2005-04-06 09:47:00 | My PC has slowed up lately when connected to the net, and I note that a huge amount of data is being sent from the PC (6 times the data being received) even when I am not uploading anything. I have run Spybot and have AVG Anti Virus both of which are up to date. I have run Spybot and done a full virus scan with no results. Is someone milking me???!!! :annoyed: |

Also it pays to run more than one anti-spyware product. Try Ad-Aware as well, alos the MS Spyware checker. And yes, run Hijackthis to see whats lurking. |

Post a few local ports and remote addresses here and we'll tell you what trouble you are in. |

| 342154 | 2005-04-07 01:38:00 | This is just a possibilty ... Have you got an HP Multimedia keyboard? Some of these were distributed with a driver with an "advanced feature". Without asking anyone's permission it would do an ET and call home. Frequently. To the extent of gigabytes per day. :badpc: There is a replacement driver obtainable for it. |
