341859 2005-04-05 07:08:00 Anyone else here using Blinnk 256 and having browing issues, specifically connecting to www.ebay.com for example?

I was told on Saturday by the helpdesk that it was a known problem. Then the helpdesk tells me last night, that they have just been told its a problem....wth?

Anyway, I haven't been able load ebay.com from either of my three machines, since last Friday night, unless I use dialup. I'm curious to see if anyone else around the country is experiencing similar issues.

341860 2005-04-05 09:02:00 Could be your IP....Orcon customers had some hassles with that a while ago now. With a certain address range, some sites had them down as still being "not in use". pctek (84)
341861 2005-04-05 09:19:00 The helpdesk go tme to try switching off the router, and reconnecting some 15-20 minutes, to pull another ip, which it did, from another pool. Nothing changed, and in fact, the service appears to be getting worse. To the point, that I'm seriously considering going to Telecom.

I googled Bliink in New Zealand, and it appears the Orcon and Ihugs UBS customers appear to suffer from bad latency issues, and I certainly can vouch for that. Ihug aren't helping the matter at all though, by not acknowledging the problem, or at least not initially anyway.

The service was good when I got it (just beofre Christmas), but its that bad now, that its not worth it. Funny how they'll still happily take my money.

Even Telecom (xtra) customers get blocks of IP addresses that give problems because they are lumped in with supposed originators of SPAM etc. It takes a short while for the "under new management" to circulate.

341866 2005-04-05 09:55:00 As you can see, I am having issues. The multiple replies are due to the fact that this page wasn;t loading properly :/

I agree with Ihugs page. I have trouble with that loading as well.
