| 342252 | 2005-04-06 20:45:00 | When I try to open files in Word I often get a message in screen lower left "requesting virus search". Word is then totally locked, though I can continue using other programmes, and I can't even shut down the box except by manually switching off. This doesn't happen every time, but it can take place with files I have created myself used frequentlyas well as files I try to open from the net. I'm on XP Pro, Word 2000 and I've got Norton AV, History Kill, and Zone Alarm. Any ideas, please. |
