I just checked Nero Express, and it gives u a videocd option, BUT this is only for pics, not audio. Nerovision express gives u a Make slide show DVD / Video CD / Super Videocd / Minidvd option, where u can add video and audio. Then u can burn whatever to a cd / dvd. Not too sure if the audio plays in the background. I suppose somehow, u can make it play or stop with Nerovision. |

One thing to note - I think you can only make a 99 slide video. Because of this limitation I ended up buying (and getting a reasonable result) with ProShow Gold. With this program I made an hour and a half DVD of our overseas trip last year. How to bore your friends...! VCDs are a breeze with this program. According to the Nero FAQ www.nero.com You can add more than 99 pics. 6. How can I create a VCD or SVCD slide show with more than 99 pictures? In our latest release of Nero 5.5, as well as in Nero 6, when creating a VCD or SVCD slide show (which is a Video CD with JPEG, TIFF, BMP, etc. files), you will encounter a warning message if you add or drag over more than 99 pictures to be burned to CD. But only if you have the option enabled. This is due to the video format standard, which is limited to 99 pictures that can be supported with a menu. Even with menu enabled, you can add more than 99 pictures. But you will not have the menu associated with those that go beyond 99. With NeroVision Express 2 you can create a VCD, SVCD or DVD slide show as well. You do have the 99 picture limit here, too. However, it´s possible to add as many slide shows as will fit on the CD or DVD, with 99 pictures per show. For example, you could divide 400 pictures to 4 slide shows on one DVD, SVCD or even VCD and each menu will play those 99 pictures associated with it. |

| 342957 | 2005-04-10 00:30:00 | Cool .. lots of neat info and Ive been working hard for the last day .. Nerophoto elite .. trial prog .. wow .. how neat !! I had pics .. with animations .. the grandkids looking like the angels and devils that they are .. I burned about 6 discs yesterday .. the animated ones with music in them too, looked so good on PC .. then into DVD player and some had the animations .. some didnt .. none of the animations were animated .. This morning Ive been trying to get the trial version of nerovision down .. but alas it seems all their mirror sites dont work or something .. is there anything else ?? | Lovelee (6586) | ||
