| 342640 | 2005-04-08 01:40:00 | :help: When I try to play audio cds on my Win98 computer, I get the following result: "Windows Media Player encountered an error when reading the CD-ROM drive in digital mode. Click OK to switch to analog mode. Click Cancel to retry playing in digital mode." Switching to analog mode results in no change. I think that it may be a result of my brother trying to copy a newer cd that, I think, contained some form of copy protection software on it. I'm not sure if this is the case, but seeming how this problem turned up at the exact same time leaves little doubt in my mind. How can I get back to listening to, and copying regular everyday audio cds? |
