| 342481 | 2005-04-07 09:23:00 | I have just noticed that the numbers for the number of new messages in my inboxes have dissappeared. Anyone got any ideas how to get them back?? OS Win XPPRO / OE |

The "General" tab will tell you the number of messages. It is not a good idea to store a large number of messages in your inbox, it is not designed for that. Delete any you don't want or move them to another folder. If you receive a corrupted message sometime and have to delete the inbox.dbx file to get things working again you will loose all your messages in your inbox. |

| 342488 | 2005-04-07 21:13:00 | In layout,do you have status bar ticked? Yep, checked that. But hey, I deleted several million of the messages only keeping a squillion or so of the important stuff. Closed it down and reopened it and sent myself a message and the numbers (for unopened messages) reappeared. Magic! Thanks guys. Rob :confused: |

| 342490 | 2005-04-08 00:06:00 | So you got the numbers back into the range of 32-bit integers then... +/- 2,000,000,000 or so.. ;) | Graham L (2) | ||
