1383572 2014-09-11 23:33:00 Thanks for the suggestion about playing with one in store. What a good idea!!! I thought to ask expert advice here first so I can take with me some of the advice and knowledge when looking for a laptop. At times salespeople can be confusing or not much help with questions I have or I have to draw the answer out of them. Cheers.

I guess it's a case of deciding what questions you want to ask before you go into a store so that they have a clearer understanding of what it is that you are wanting to know.

1383573 2014-09-12 04:24:00 Once you have sorted what you like. I would go on Pricespy and check what price you can get from a higher rated store. It can be much easier to take it back if you have problems. Not saying TM vendors are unreliable, but if you do get a bad apple!- in the end all you have is an email address. PPp (9511)
1383574 2014-09-12 06:10:00 100% I'd go a Chromebook if they're not going to be doing programming on it... Things like the Samsung Chromebook for like ~$350 are fantastic!! Chilling_Silence (9)
